gd151 el

The Guidolin Girotto model 151 EL automatic mechanical flat-bed die cutting machine is the latest version of the successful GD 151 line.  The new EL version keeps its solid frame structure, mechanical fly-wheel operation with micro-metric single cylinder adjustment for precise cutting tolerance & noise-less operation, yet represents some improvements related to the hardware and software, including the new TFT 4” color touchscreen.  The rewinds are electro-mechanical with gear motors and mechanical friction with manual regulation which allows for accurate tension control.

The 151 EL automatic kiss cutting machine develops 5 mechanical tons of cutting power, has a cutting platen of 200mm x 200mm, a fixed stroke of 30mm, with speeds ranging from 30-120 strokes per minute. It is an economically priced, entry level narrow web die cutting press for converters of neutral & printed labels, laminated foams & textiles, & double sided adhesives – ideal for short to medium runs - designed to meet the demands of quick change-over, high quality, and ever-evolving manufacturing environments.

The 151 EL can be equipped with the following optional systems:

• 1,2 or 3 Frictioned unwinds on the inboard side complete with a 76mm diameter expansion shaft
• Single conveyor on the inboard side for lamination. The conveyor is equipped with rolls covered in silicone rubber which are motorized and controlled by the PLC.
• Photocell to detect the end of the material
• Optical fiber photocell for reading marked or printed references
• K2 System: Scrap separator with transversal bar coated in anti-adherent material
• Single conveyor on the outboard side of the cutting head. The conveyor is equipped with rolls covered in silicone rubber which are motorized and controlled by the PLC.
• 1 or 2 Motorized rewinds with friction & frontal regulation.
• SDT System : Electronic printing system, ZEBRA model ZM600, for paper with 178mm passage and speeds of 152/254mm per second. This stand-alone system can be placed in line with the GD 151 EL die cutting machine and is equipped with a motorized unwind, a shifting dancer for correct paper tensioning before and after the printing, complete with automatic feeding photocell and photocell to detect the end of the material.
